Hi Ladies,

I am taking the plunge!! I have been wanting to do this for the last 10 years and am scheduling my tummy tuck and lipo surgery (along w/tubes tied) in November of this year. If you have had this done and were completely satified and think it was well worth it, email me your experience please at ____@____.com or here as well. I want to know your pre-op and post-op experience. I am going with a great Doctor (interviewed 3) at Plano Presby and am a bit excited, anxious and apprehensive as well. If there are those of you who don't agree with Plastic Surgery, please refrain from sending me a response. I have a great self image and confidence in myself and have always wanted this done. I am of a sound mind and don't need any type of therapy to see my "inner beauty". Believe me I have heard it all, just wanting to hear and share you thoughts about what you had done.

Thanks in advance!

G. B.

I just had my tummy tuck on april 11th with
dr. todd pollock
his website is www.drpollock.com

He is so amazing. i look like i lost 50lbs and he does not use tummy tuck drains and the place where you stay overnight is simply amazing.

I am so happy i chose him.

I visited with 8 other doctors and he was by far my favorite.

Other than him id reccomend

dr.Fred Lester In dallas ( baylor)
Dr. Ronald Freidman ( plano baylor)

I had a full tummy tuck and liposuction a few months ago and have been very very happy. It has totally changed how I feel inside as well as out. My recovery was very smooth. Yes you will be sore (especially in the abdomen) but with medication, it isn't too bad. You will probably have a drain in your side for a couple of days. That is sort of annoying but not too bad either. The bruising will go away very quickly and you will want to wear an abdominal binder for the first several week. I think I wore mine for the first 5 weeks or so. That too makes you feel better. You will be swollen and your stomach will feel numb for a while. Mine still feels numb and my doctor said that is totally normal and should start going away within a year. You will probably not see full results for at least 3 months but probably a little longer. Everyone heals differently so just remember that this was just my experience. One MUST is that you need to stay your first night in the hospital or with a nurse around the clock for 24 hours. Also, you will need someone to stay with you and take care of your 4 year old for at least 2 weeks. Trust me, this is a MUST! You will not be able to lift anything or be too active for that time. Over all, if like me, you will have a very good experience and the results are life changing. Good luck.
