S.,
If you are close to Coit and Frankford, I might be a good fit for your family. I run a state registered in-home childcare at Frankford/Tollway with very low ratio (only 3 children). I have been in business for over 7 years and I just had the state monitoring visit yesterday, which I passed with all green lights. I care for 2 two year old brothers and a nine month old.
Feel free to call me if you want more info.
Thanks,
A.

I had my kids in Carpe Diem Preschool at Renner/Alma for years until we moved further north and I began working from home. It is wonderful. It is also pricey. =)

There is a licensed in-home childcare provider near Waterview & Beltline, but I'm not sure if she is taking anyone else right now. She likes to keep it small. She has a curriculum she follows for small children and safe home. If you want to check with her she is at ###-###-####.

Welcome to our home! Do you feel like your young child would benefit from a nurturing and educational home environment rather than a classroom setting? Would you like your child to have social interaction without being in a large group setting? We are the home for your child! This is not a daycare! I am a SAHM to two boys (ages 3 and 2). I am only interested in watching 1 or 2 children, so that each child still gets the time and attention that is so critical at this age! I am a licensed teacher who has also had experience in a daycare setting. Even though I am a SAHM I haven’t let my “teaching” go! More than a daycare I am looking to welcome you to our family!

ACTIVITIES: We are an active home not a regimented daycare center! Your child will not be sitting in front of the TV! I consider education to be vital for the development of your child. However, kids don’t learn best from sitting! Some of our activities include: painting (with all of our limbs!), coloring, reading books, sand art, sandbox discovery, letter/shape/color recognition, bubbles, nature walks, themed play outings for social interaction, etc. I will send home a daily communication log so you know exactly how your little one spent his or her day!

Most importantly we are interested in welcoming you to our family and home. Just like you, my main objective is to provide my children with the best environment possible. I want to make sure we are a good match for both of our families! Please call or email me with lots of questions!
