Daycare and Preschool Options in the Lake Orion Area

I am moving to Lake Orion later this summer, and wondered if anybody had recommendations for preschool and daycare. I have a four year old daughter and a two month old. I would prefer if they were in the same facility, but will consider sending them to separate places.

What can I do next?

We go to Children's Choice Learning Center in Rochester. It depends where you work if this would be convenient for you, but we LOVE it and they have classrooms for children 6 weeks through Kindergarten. Good luck with your move!

My son has been at Happy Hearts DayCare with Laura Traylor since he was 12 weeks old (and he will be starting kindergarten this fall). If you are looking for home daycare I would suggest you call and interview, visit, etc. as I was looking for more a "home" experience versus starting him out in a "school" type environment. She does lessons with him, he gets lots of play outside time and overall I cannot say enough good things about her. Her number is: ###-###-####. She is a licensed daycare provider, so if you have a Dependent Care Account it is also reimburseable! Good Luck - T.

I am a toddler teacher at Pee Wee Patch. We are NAEYC accredited and we were voted Best of the Best for preschool and child care last year. I am also a parent of 2 boys. My oldest no longer attends there but my four year old does. We are open Monday through Saturday from 6am to 11pm which helps for those who don't have the typical "9 to 5" job. You can stop in at any time to check us out (1796 S. Lapeer Rd, Lake Orion) or you can call ###-###-####. You can also take a look at our website www.peeweepatch.com

Here are the things that are included in the weekly tuition: Huggies diapers, wipes, baby cereal and food (when your little one is old enough), breakfast, snacks, lunch and a music class for children 1 year old and older.

Your 4 year old would be in either preschool or pre-k depending on her birthday. You will receive daily emails about what the class did for the day and you will also receive pictures.

I could go on and on about all of the things that I absolutely love about Pee Wee Patch but I think I'll leave it at what I've said already and hope that you will give us a look.

Sincerely,
Ms. Barbie
