I'm having a get together with girlfriends and we are each to bring a $20 gift for an exchange appropriate for any of the women. Any ideas that would be nice/fun?

What can I do next?

Manicure or pedicure kit? Get some holiday polish and inexpensive toe separators and maybe something silly like stick on nail decals.

If they are all moms, a "mom rescue kit" with a mini bottle of aspirin, a box of bandaids, etc. in a really cute little case. Think about things you need - paper seat covers (they sell them in travel packs of 5 for your purse), tissues, toilet paper (yup, they sell travel packs of that, too!), boogie wipes, wet wipes, pins, etc.

A night out - a gift card for a theater near you and an offer to babysit.

If they like tea or coffee, some fun sample packs in a mug.

Fancy chocolate

The microwavable rice-filled therapy bags you can use on sore muscles. I found some cute ones on Etsy for less than $20 when I was looking for stocking stuffers for my husband.

$20 in lotto scratchers. Not very creative at all but you can wrap them in a spangly box. ;)

Go to Home Goods/Marshall's/TJ Maxx if you have one in your area. They have a variety of great and expensive looking gifts for under $20.

I just did this over the weekend. The big hits in the exchange were bracelets, and also a lip gloss set. Fun!

Matching gloves and a scarf.
A nice lapel pin.
A pretty bracelet.

I have found amazing things on e-bay that you don't even have to bid on. You can just "buy it now". I've never been disappointed. They have lovely necklace and earring sets.

No offense to anyone, but I think lottery scratchers are a horrible gift.
I always put some thought into my gifts and I've received scratchers.
Didn't win a single thing. The cards went in the garbage and I had nothing in the end.

Just my opinion.
