Hi Mom's Hope all is well.

So me and hubby are trying to conceive we had sex during my ovulation time and since a week ago I have had much like pregnancy symptoms but my period is not due until another week or so... I just don't feel, right of course i took a test and it says negative it is probably way too soon but i wanted to ask if this has happened to any of you? have you had symptoms before you missed your period and then were pregnant... I am just probably thinking about it too much :/ My boobs are extremely sensitive i have headache all the time my fuse is extremely short around my other kids I have no patients i want to cry for anything... Any ways your thought are extremely thanked.

Yup- two weeks ago in fact! Unfortunately (at least for me) my PMS symptoms feel a lot like my "expecting" symptoms! My doctor reminded me that you have 25% chance each month of conceiving and suggested that we "try" every night for the five days that we are most likely to be fertile (days 11-15)!

Good luck!

I say since you're TRYING, it's probably psychological... But then again, I didn't really TRY with either of mine.

Heck, my son was a complete surprise!

Wait 2 weeks and pee on that stick again!!!

I think it's way to early to be taking pregnancy test and having so many of these "symptoms". Wait another 2 weeks, you'll know soon enough.

You really need to wait until your period is due to take the test. If you're pregnant you won't have enough hcg built up in your system to show up on the tests. That's normal. The best method is still to wait until you've missed your period to take a test because very often, our bodies react to small elevations in hcg. Sometimes our bodies "think" they're pregnant and react as if they are. Sometimes we get pregnant and the body releases that pregnancy when you would typically have your period anyway. That's why these earlier and earlier pregnancy tests are such a bad idea.

I went through the same thing a month before I was found out I was pregnant with my 2nd. Consequently, I was VERY surprised when I started my period in January and a little confused when I didn't in February. It wasn't until months later I realized that I could have miscarried before I even got a positive pregnancy test. Give yourself some time.

For my second pregnancy, I knew I was pregnant within about 5 days of conceiving. I was nauseated and tired right away--before my pregnancy test was positive. It's possible that you're really clued into your body and/or that you have strong symptoms. Good luck!

I always knew, when I was pregnant.

Are you taking Prenatal vitamins???
Do so.
Even when just trying to conceive, my Doc said to already take Prenatal vitamins.
And calcium.
And Omega-3 vitamins.
And iron.
But ask your Doc.

I know that people say the symptoms can't possibly come on before the period is due. But I know that's not true. I've been pregnant 7 times with 3 miscarriages and 4 daughters. My husband and my father and others in my life knew within a week of conception. My nausea, light-headedness, emotional behavior, and some other symptoms started within 4-5 days for me.

My last pregnancy was the most dramatic. Within days my boobs hurt so bad I wanted to cry from the pain. I was hot one minute and freezing cold the next. Acid reflux started almost immediately and the round ligament pain was bad from the very start. It was just pretty well a sure thing. I conceived on the 2nd of the month and by the 11th I had my positive pregnancy test already.
