JRC in Evanston is fabulous - but it is in Evanston :)
The director is incredible - her name is Bonnie Silverman - you can reach her at ____@____.com

My 4 year old LOVES it there!!

They have an indoor space, and will be offering swimming this summer as well.

My 2 year old is going to the JCYS Lakeview Summer camp, but they might be full for the summer. She was on a waiting list but got in. They are in different age groups but it is worth a phone call. The website is http://www.jcys.org/lakeview/camping.html

Everywhere else I looked was for 3+ so my daughter was too young. You might also want to check otu the JCC http://www.gojcc.org/index.php?option=com_content&tas...

Hope you find something :)

The JCC Apachi camp (at UIC) is terrific. My daughter attended as a 4 year old and absolutely loved it. She really loved the all of the swimming lessons.

Hi there,

I would check out the JCC. It is an excellent program. Also, you might want to check out JCYS or Anshe Emet Synagouge. I am not sure if they have a program. Good luck.

If you are willing to travel a bit south to hyde park there is a phenominal camp program at Akiba Schechter School in Hyde Park. The director is Carla Baker - Goldberg. If you need info I used to teach there and they fill up early so I'd call right away. They take fairly young kids. I think 2 yr. olds.

J.,
I wanted to be sure to check out what the summer camps plan on doing with the cicadus (?) coming at the end of May and staying for 6 weeks. I live up in Glencoe and I am surprise that Mom's have not been checking with their summer camps - just make sure they have an indoor area.

By the way we are selling our house - and my realtor said Lakeview is an area she is going to mail because she sells alot of homes to Lakeview families looking to move into Glencoe for the school District. Know any one looking? We have a charming 3 bed 21/2 bath Cape Cod house - We live in walking district to the beach, downtown and trains. Thanks and good luck with the summer camp!
