Can anyone please recommend a reliable car service from Ft. Lauderdale airport to our hotel resort? Will be traveling for a girl trip at the end of the month and looking to make a reservation soon. TIA!

So What Happened?

Hotel resort does not offer shuttle service.

Thank you, TF. There will be six of us girls. We will be celebrating our 30th birthdays/bachelorette party for my best friend who will be getting married this spring. I am ok with just grabbing a taxi at the airport but was worried about getting one that would accommodate all of us and our luggage. We are staying at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa. We are really just looking forward to laying out, relaxing, people watching, maybe a spa treatment, and of course good food! Thanks again for your response!

ETA: TF, I have been to Destin but never Ft. Lauderdale. Will definitely look up the restaurant you mentioned. So fun! Thank you for the suggestion!

Live here, near the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa. Grab a cab. It won't be much unless you happen to hit cruise ship traffic. If you need two cabs to accommodate 6 plus luggage so be it. It won't be much more than $20 each way. Super Shuttle charges per person and will end up costing more total plus you have to deal with all the drop offs.

LMK if you need any other advice - I live near the hotel. Have fun!

We go to Sourh beach often and sometimes fly in and out of Ft Lauderdale. We've always grabbed a cab and had no issues.

Some cabs are minivans so they can accommodate your group.

Are you looking for a limo service?

Catching a cab has never been an issue. Daughter and I are going back in March and will do the same.

Last year a cab from Ft Lauderdale to south beach was less than $100 with tip. Straight shot to hotel no stops.

You could use super shuttle but then you're at the mercy of how many stops before yours.

What hotel? LOVE the Loews at north Miami beach!!

ETA; that hotel cab fare will be much less since its at Ft Lauderdale. Have you been there? We've stayed there and loved it although it's been several years. Enjoy yourselves. I forgot the name of the restaurant but there's a cool restaurant with swinging tables (gliders) that's fun and good people watching. The spa at the marriott was very nice as well when u was there. Enjoy!!!

Whatever you use, do NOT use VIP Florida Shuttle. We used them 2 years ago for our cruise (flew in and out of Ft. Lauderdale) and it was horrible. Not a good way to end an amazing vacation.

We stayed at a Marriott resort in Miami the night before the trip as well.

I vote for taking a cab - go for the mini-van ones or get two. The hotel also likely has shuttle service, most Marriott's do to the local airport. And the bonus is they are free or cheap!

The Ft. Lauderdale airport can get hectic since it's so close to the port where the cruises leave from. If you go in on a Friday or Saturday, you can guarantee it will be hectic. Your best bet is a cab. To that hotel will be about $25. So get three cabs and it will cost you each $13. I've been to Ft. Lauderdale MANY times - cabs are the way to go.

Have an awesome trip!!

The resort should be able to recommend a shuttle service.
