I am a working mommy that loves to do nail art for little girls and big girls too. I am finally putting some effort into making this a second income. I would like to offer my services for little girls' birthday parties or other events that a little girl would want pretty nails for. I am stumped for a name that would be catchy, cute, and/or something that would represent nail art. I really need some ideas. I want to upload a listing on craigslist and other social networking sites but need a name. Hopefully someone can help :)

What can I do next?

Welcome to Mamapedia!

Usually a first time question that brings someone to a parenting site is more...well, parent related.

But Nail Art sounds fine. I'm sure you'll do well.

Hope you stick around. :)

Here are two:

Twinkle Toes - Nail Art for Glamour Girls

Paint by Numbers - You make a chart with 10 or so styles, and then even if they can't read, they can pick out which color/style they want to have AND it shows off your artistry at the same time.

I would have hired you for a party when my girls were younger. Good luck and hope you get A TON of business!!!!

Sorry Dad - "Nail Art" is boring.

I think the idea of having a chart with 10 styles is great, but I'd instead have a portfolio of ideas/photos. One portfolio for kids parties, one for adults.

Names:
L.'s Nail Designs
Stylin Nails
Unique Nail Design by L.
Nails and Tails (if you do hair too??) Ha. Got that idea from here: http://www.rhymer.com/RhymingDictionary/nails.html
Devine Design
Shiny Designy

I like "Paint By Numbers" strangely enough. At first I didn't like it, as it sounds kind of juvenile. But it's memorable and that's important. I don't care for Twinkle Toes as much, as it sound more for kids and less for adults. But maybe that's what you want?? I could see the name working for parties and such. But as an adult I'd feel funny telling my husband "The lady from Twinkle Toes will be here in ten minutes" ..... but I am not a girly girl so maybe that's why I am not a huge fan.

Perhaps you can find one of your favorite designs and incorporate that into your name. ie: Flowering Nail Design or Dots and Designs or Zig Zag Nails
