Bunny Birthday Party

My daughter who is turning 7 would like a "bunny" themed birthday party in September. Any invitation wording ideas? Besides an egg hunt (where can I find plastic eggs in August), any other ideas? Thanks again

What can I do next?

So What Happened?™

Hop on over for an egg hunt at XXX
Date and time
It will be a bunny good time
R.S.V.P. info...

Party details:

You could ask on freecycle.org for eggs. TONS of people will happy to get rid of them. You could phrase it like "The Easter bunny wants to celebrate (insert name)'s b-day so bad that he couldn't wait until April! Join us for an egg hunt... (insert more info here). :) My soon to be 10 year old girl wants a Mario party. No idea how I'm gonna pull that one off....

You can dye eggs like you do at Easter...maybe pin the tail on the bunny? Just thinking quickly at wording ideas, you can say something like "Hop on over to so-and-so's house for a birthday party". You can make bunny ear headbands as a craft...I'm sure the dollar store sells plastic headbands you can cover with felt and cut out felt ears to glue on. Stuff like that? I don't know, my baby girl is only 13 months:) Hope this helps!

I haven't read the other answers - forgive me if I'm repeating.

A bunny hop race would be fun - they have to hop instead of run. You could also make a pin the tail on the bunny poster and use cotton balls for the tails (double stick tape should hold well enough to get through the game.) Family Fun magazine has cute bunny shaped pear snacks that you ought to be able to look up (www.familyfun.com). You could build a small obstacle course and be Peter Rabbitt and siblings trying to escape from Mr. MacGregor's garden.

"Hop on over for a birthday party. XX is turning 7"
"Hoppy Birthday! We're eggs-ited to invite you to XX's 7th birthday party"

Games- how about "Bunny" bingo. Instead of BINGO across the top replace with "BUNNY" You can make your own on the computer and print onto cardstock paper. I did the same thing for a wedding shower (substituted BRIDE instead of BINGO). I found a bingo template for free online, made my own, 4 fit on a page, bought different colored card stock paper from Staples/Office depot (it's like $.15/page), printed them at home, and cut them apart.

Try the website Oriental Trading! They have tons of Easter/bunny themed prizes and decorations! And the prices/quality are good!
Have fun!

oh, how fun! here are a few ideas:

Pin the (fluffy) tail on the bunny!
A craft where they decorate bunny masks or bunny ears to wear.
Create games with bunny tails (cotton balls) - carry a cotton ball in a spoon as a race, move cotton balls from one location to another using their nose (with a little vaseline)
Stick bunny tails on all the guests, the one whose tail lasts the longest wins
Bunny hop races

Snacks: carrots, Deviled eggs, Bunny chow (chex mix or similar), Trix (remember the trix rabbit?), chocolate milk (remember the nesquick bunny)

Have fun!

Oh! Get some bunny ears!
E-Bay has them.
