So What Happened?

Well she picked an 18.00 bunny and I recorded a message for her (8.00) so when she gets nervous at preschool she can listen to it. I was hoping to keep it under 30.00 so I am very happy!

You can get out of there for 25 if you just get the low end model, and no clothes, they give free bows.

We usually get one dress or one shirt with it, brings it to over 30.

My oldest has 4 of them(Carl the koala, Baps the bear,, Katy the bear, and Rose the cat) , my youngest has 1 that she got when she was almost 2 (named it ah-ay), lol

ETA...my kids were never let down by not getting all the accessories they could ever want for the bears. Those things are way overpriced if you ask me, BOTH my kids just liked building it,putting the heart on it, air bathing it, naming it on the computer...and picking free bows and Maybe one shirt or dress for it. Those clothes and shoes and hats and pants...etc..all come off and get lost anyway.

I just got my niece a bear, The bear itself was $18, but I also got her an outfit and shoes. I spent $33 total. And I live in NH so no sales tax on that. If I had gotten all the things I wanted to I would have spent a fortune. It's the accessories that get you. I mean really, does a teddy bear really need underwear?

If you let her go too, I would say $50 because she will want to add sound, clothes, and shoes.

I took my son and grandson to build a bear. one got a bear one got a cat. (those were both in the $9.99 range) they each got an outfit and shoes. the bears come with a big cardboard house w/birth certificate. my son also got a cat bed. total cost for all things was $102 it can really get expensive if you let it. I didn't realize how much till we got to the register lol. But my son is now 16 and my grandson is 11. they both have the bear and cat sitting on their beds. so they lasted through a lot of night nights lol.

Definitely depends on what you want to get. The basic bears are $10-$12, but some of the other animals cost around $20. Clothes and accessories can really add up, so it depends on what you want to get. A basic t-shirt is probably around $5, a dress maybe $10, but you can get shoes, hair pieces, underwear, sunglasses etc. I know I have often gotten coupons for there (e.g. $10 off a purchase of $30) and that helps.

Depends won if you want clothes and such and what kind. My sons last one was a panda he dressed as Darth Vader and it cost about 30. But I think basic bears are 10-12$

I think my daughter's was around 50- with one set of clothes and a pair of sunglasses- my mom insisted on taking her for her 3rd birthday- oh and she had a happy birthday song chip put in the hand too. Did I mention mom let her pick out the bear- it is bright pink and tie-dye *sigh*

The lowest price stuffed animal is, $10 or $12. The animals themselves go up to $35 (I think). The general price for a full outfit, about $9-12. There are also accessories like shoes, sunglasses, roller skates, hats, etc... they are extra $4 and up I think.

My kids have never been interested in the sound you can add...

$10 if you buy the least expensive animal, no frills. We got out of there for around $20-25 when I got my mom a graduation bear with a couple of accessories. You can always tell the child that the bear (and sound, if you want it since it's hard to add later) is the gift today and accessories can be put on wishlists for later events.

We took my daughter and a few friends & cousins there for her 3rd b-day. Each child had a $20 spending limit and they were each able to get a bear and one accessory. They had a great time, and I think the bears are a very good quality for the price, even though some of the accessories are quite expensive.

When we did it they were are $75. You have to accessorize, get a heart, have sound, etc..

Expect to spend more than you think.

Well, I wouldn't bother doing one if you're going to go cheap & only let your kid stuff an animal but not customize it. There's really no point & you'll end up with an upset kid.

It depends on how many items/accessories you're going to let your child put on the animal, and which animal you pick. That being said, if money is not an issue, I would allow them around $50 bucks or so, so it can be customized the way they want.

You can expect to spend $25-$35 for a bear with an outfit & maybe one accessory. There are also coupons online if you look and you can sign up for their email I think & they will mail you coupons as well.
