I am new to the area and my daughter is turning 5 this August. Does anyone have any good ideas for a birthday party for girls and boys? Any good places to go because our house just isn't big enough for a party here!!

What can I do next?

I highly recommend Jump n Jammin in Mission Viejo at the Kaleidoscope off of Crown Valley Pkwy. They do absolutely everything for you. Lots of fun for boys and girls and there is a smaller area for little brothers or sisters to play in since lots of 5 year olds have younger siblings.
Have fun!

If you belong to a community club/pool, have a pool party or play at the park and have a scavenger hunt. You can rent a bouncer of course, but a park can be entertainment enough if you want. I also once read of a "Bike Party". Have the kids all bring their bikes to the park. Find a park with lots of paths so you can do a bike rally, races, etc. This is especially good if your thinking of a new bike for turning 5!
Lot's of luck and love to you and all your little ones!!

There's a very reasonably priced party for kids (her age is perfect) at Scat's gymastic in Huntington Beach, CA. They do all the set-up & clean-up. All you have to do is bring the food. The kids have a great time and thy're tired afterwards. Call them ###-###-#### & check prices. I think they have a website too.

Check out Monkey Business Gymnastics at 21092 Bake Pkwy, suite 102, Lake Forest, CA 92630. The owner/operator is Lynn Turley. I had my daughter's 4th b-day there in May and my son's b-day there a few years ago. The pricing is awesome for what you get. She spends a hour to 1 1/2 hours in organized activites in her gym with the kids and they have so much fun! Then she has a party room for the food which you bring in. (also, very cost effective :)

Lynn's phone # is ###-###-####

Good luck with the party!

My 5 year old just had a party at scooters jungle in Aliso Viejo. All the kids had a great time and we have been to a couple other parties there. Really easy for mom too, all the setup, clean up, etc is taken care of for you. Just bring a cake and you are set! They also allow up to 25 kids (I think..) for a party. You can add more for a little fee.

Pump it up is always good fun, but a little pricey. Or rent a jumper and go to a nearby park. My daughter got invited to a 4 year old party in a park and they hired a magician. The kids loved it.

Bowling, ceramic painting or mini golf is a great mixed group activity. Go to the park and rent a bouncer.

Holy cow - you're a very busy lady! What you need is a place where they do all the work for you. Monkey Business Gymnastics gives a great birthday party for little kids, as does Azarian Gymnastics and National Gymnastics (check prices-they really vary). That way you can watch them have all the fun and relax! Also dance schools have birthday parties - try Center Stage Dance in Rancho Santa Margarita. These are all quality places in So. Orange County. Another good place is Scooter's Jungle - lots of fun! There's another inflatable-playground place that's new and I think pretty inexpensive called Pow Wow. It's off Alicia Parkway and Via Fabricante. That age kid LOVES inflatable playgrounds. Jumpin' & Jammin' is another good one. Have fun!

I just walked by this place last week and it looks sooooo cute. They have a birthday room that looks perfect for a little girl around 5 years old!
