So What Happened?

hi girls. thank you all for your opinions. i went ahead and purchased the
hotsling and another product i found online called the peanut shell sling. i will keep the one what fits and works best for me and my baby. and thank you for directing me to the ergo, seems like a much better product vs the baby bjorn. i will definitely buy the ergo for when my baby is bigger. thank you again! :)

I really like the "Ergo".. but have only used it with my older baby... they have an infant insert though, and it is something you could use until 40 pounds, front, side and back carry... it is supposed to be "ergonomic" for both you and the child.

I have purchased a incredible amount of baby carriers and the one I would recommend hands down is Ergo baby.

I just bought the peanut shell sling and wish I knew of this earlier. It will take your child up to 35 lbs if needed and can be worn 5 different ways and can fold up in diaper bag and comes in so many different paterns go to baby adventure gear free shipping and great customer service . I wish I knew of this product sooner. love it. ALso had baby bjorn for a while with first and second like this sling better! good luck

I love ring slings because they are adjustable and you can use the tail to cover the baby for privacy in nursing and to shade from the sun or wind.

they are fairly easy to make as well. if you search maya wrap slings, you should be able to find the pattern for sewing on yourself. and then you can buy the rings at (I think the place is called Ring Slings dot com).

I think the moby wrap is the best for infants. It snuggles them up close to your heart where they love to be and best of all you are hands free :) The sling and ergo are great for when they are older IMO.

I used a snuggli. My daughter loved it, but it wasn't that comfy for me, a little too structured. She also got very warm inside. Plus she grew ut of it quickly.

I LOVED the hotsling. www.hotsling.com
It was very comfortable and easy to use! I used it for about 9mos, then switched to the ERGO which I also loved.(couldn't use the bjorn after 4mos!) I still use the ERGO and my ds is 18mo

I LOVED the Maya Wrap, because it is adjustable. Because of that, husband or anyone else can use it as well. I also loved that I could use the wrap to keep my baby totally out of view (felt safer germ- and otherwise on the subway)
