The Bailey Center in Westland is good too. Had my daughters baby shower there a couple years ago. The small room is very reasonable, but book early as it fills up quick.

Is there a local park or zoo? My office had an outting at the zoo and it was awesome. They served us food and did all the clean up. They decorated it for us and everyone got a VIP parking pass so they would have a spot and didn't have to walk a mile to get there. There was also a tram just for us that took us back and forth if you couldn't/didn't walk. I'm not sure about the cost, but it is just an idea.

State parks rent shelter houses that hold around 60 for about $40.

try Wayne Rec on Howe rd and the Bailey Center on Ford rd. We have had several showers at Wayne Rec and they remodled a few years ago. I have been to things at the Bailey Center but they haven't been remodled in a while. Of course either place you will have to do your own food but if you have several friends or family willing to help it isn't that big of a problem.

If you do not want to prepare the food yourself there is DeLuca's on Warren & Inkster, Antonio's in Canton, Rose's Restaurant in Canton, Baldo's in Brownstown -- all have separate rooms for showers/parties.
