Exercise and using the Optima Slim-fast meal bars have helped me! This worked with both pregnancies for me. It took time to adjust but overall it worked well if you really stick to it!

G.:
I am a registered nurse and at age 49, with menopause in full swing, have had a difficult time losing weight. I found a nutritional program called Isagenix that has been incredible. I lost 8 pounds my first week! I have lost a total of 25 pounds and 14 inches. The company is out of Arizona and the products are 100% guaranteed!! You may wish to check out www.weightlosshalloffame.net for examples of other's successes. The products are all natural, no stimulants, and they are safe! The company has a scientific advisory board made of doctors (one has served for 2 US presidents!), scientsits, nutritionists, etc. They even have CHOCOLATE (Developed by a doctor) that tastes terrific (like Godiva!) that takes your appetite away! They have other products as well - but I can tell you I have never felt better! I have energy, less stress and am loving the quick, safe results. They even have alot of professonal and olympic athletes tha tuse the products! Let me know if you would like more information and I can even assist you in getting the products at wholesale prices.
Best of luck!

I have a weight problem. I'm about 90 pounds overweight, and I've struggled for years. Then I bought Dr. Phil's book, The Ultimate Weight Loss Solution. I know... kinda lame. But it's really practical and it makes you go through a thorough process of beginning and maintaining a new eating lifestyle. You have to decide you're committed, but it is very inspirational. I've lost ten pounds and it's not a diet! I'm very motivated and optimistic. Give it a try. You can get it cheap used on Amazon.

Hi there - let's just say this up front - diet supplements do not work! Don't waste your money. The only thing that is going to work is a diet/exercise program. Since you are only one month post-pardum, you should not be doing either of those things at this point. You need to let your body recover from the birth of your child. Usually around the 6 week point, after your post-pardum check at your doctor, if he/she gives you the go-ahead, then you may start a program. The best thing is to eat in moderation - do not remove anything from your diet, you can eat what you like, just do it in moderation and eat smaller amounts more often to get your metabolism going. You will need to add some exercise to your day. Some cardio will burn some of the fat off and then some moderate weights are the best for toning you body while increase your muscle mass which will in turn help your body burn more fat. Best wishes.

This is going to sound SOOO SILLY but my cousin swears by it and after this baby I'm going to try it. She said, if you have an XBOX or Playstatio 2 or 3 (I forget which ps it was) that there's this game called Dance Dance Revolution. My cousin while pregnant with her daughter gained ALOT and couldn't get it off no matter what she tried. I think she gained a total of 64 lbs. Then her little sister had her play that game with her and she started to lose the weight!! She eats pretty healthy and plays on the game for 45 min a day and I'll be the first to admit SHE LOOKS GREAT!!! She has been doing this about 8 months and lost ALL her pregnancy weight and THEN SOME!!!! I can't wait to try it and if you do and it works let me know! :)

After I had my third, I could'nt get rid of the weight. so i went to a bariactric clinic. It really helped, plus I bought an excercise tape and used it twice a day. Stayed away from pasta, bread, butter things like that. It only took about two and ahalf months to get rid of the weight, but I was left with flabby belly. So I had a tummy tuck, best money I ever spent.

I've gotta be honest, I still have some baby fat and my son is now 17 months old. I haven't really motivated to work out yet. I'm not overweight or anything, just more interested in playing with my son rather than working out! I have walked my dogs and taken my son out for walks and I will again when the weather warms up. To help me out, I eat an Access Bar before I go for a walk. It is a fat conversion activity bar you can get through the company that I represent. It has helped me take off some of the fat and it definitely gives me the energy boost I need. So that's my secret. I would recommend Access Bars or shakes to anyone looking to make the most of their exercise time. There is a website by a marathon swimmer that explains them a little more. I'll attach that address here. http://tammyvanwisse.com/nutrition2.htm

Well I will say this I have uses suppliments but it you look at them as a way of popping a pill and getting a miricle then the other post are right they do not do that!
I have used the Green Tea Ultra it's not that expensive and it is great for controling cravings it gives me evergy too. This on is the same make up as the Hydroxy ripped that is highly advertised less 50 Mg of one ingreadient.
You do need to remember to do this as in other post you will learn in the weight watchers meetings to eat more largest meal is breakfast to et you and your matabolisim going, have a friut or cup of raisins something good at mid morning, have a medium lunch another afternoon snack" healthy" and a light dinner say a small chicken brest with a smal side salad. do not eat after 7:00 it possiable. You add these the suppliment 30 min prior to food intake and the meal plan with some exercise "take a walk, go up and down the stairs 10 times, do a little of a carodo video every day" (my favorite is Turbo Jam it's awesome!!!!!) then you will see a major difference. The meal plan is important eating like this seems to be eating to much but it makes your metabolisim keep running through the day and is a constant burning of the food (intake is the fuel). Eat slow too if you are a fast eater the reseptors in you stomache will redgister that you are full faster and you will eat less. Also another trick is to drink a full glass of water prior to the meal "with the suppliment is a great time" will give you the sensation of feeling full faster.....again returning to not indulging as much.....If going out to eat take half of it home.
Hope this helps it helped me lose 30 Lbs after my son I was 135LBs got down to 104 now because of less exersice am 110 but still really happy!
Good luck and remember it is all dedication and pr planning you daily snacks the night before and have them ready to grab and go is so much easier to stay on track!

i would also recommend weight watchers. that's what i used after my second baby was born, with the program i lost all the baby fat from her and from my first pregnancy that i had never lost! i personally didn't attend the meetings, i just ordered the books and did it on my own. i had some support from their website, too...you can join their community message boards website for free. you could also get an online membership without having to go to a meeting, too. that's what i've done this time around to help me lose those last stubborn 10lbs. it's a great program that doesn't restrict what you can or can't eat...that worked great for me since i find it hard to give up my cookies and treats! i could still have ice cream or cookies as long as i had the points.
good luck with whatever choice you make.

Hey G.. weigth watchers is the key. I am 29 years old and a nursing student and I do work out but it is easy with my full hectic schedule. I gained 60 pounds with my daughter who was 2 weeks early and 9 pounds when born and I gained 80 pounds with my son who was 5 weeks early and weighed 8 pounds when born. I am tall so it does not show as bad as on others but it was all in the stomach and I lost it all by doing weight watchers and still eat whatever as long as I did not go over my points and it helps you eat better when you are on the go, which as moms that is not unusual. I hope this helps.

I agree with an earlier post...supplements and pills do not work...if they did....people that could afford what are charged for them like Oprah, Kirstie Alley, etc would have already bought them, lost with them and promoted them. Diet and exercise is the only things that DO work. There are great programs out there like Weight Watchers that teach you a different way of living...not dieting...I highly recommend them. I lost 50 pounds with Weight Watchers and have kept it off for over 4 months now. The meetings are not cheesy and you would surprised about the varying types of people that are in there...it's not just a "bunch of fat people".

Make sure your doctor has cleared you to workout before doing any type of activity.

Best of luck to you!
