Having a hard time coming up with a middle name for Diego. Please share your suggestions with me, would prefer a name that can be pronounced both in English and Spanish. What I mean is for the name to be the same in both languages such as Cruz and not like William which in Spanish would be Guillermo.
I hope I don't come across as ignorant, but can't all names be pronounced in Spanish and English? I like the way Diego Louis sounds.

Personally I like Tomas or Jose.
I also like Luis. I like Tomas, too, but to see it written without the H (Thomas) is a little weird to me as an English name. Flows great though and, if I'm thinking it's a Spanish name, Tomas works.
I think Diego Luis sounds really good.
Bug - I think a name like "Salatiel" (a spanish name of a student I once had) or one like "Juventino" (another student) - may be hard to pronounce in English, so MomofMany wants a name that is simple enough for both languages.
MomofMany - I like Tomas (pronounced different in each language, but easy for both to say). I also like Jose, although it's pretty common. I like just about all of TJ's answers - Sebastian and Joaquin the best. I dont care for Oscar simply b/c I think it is hard to pronounce in Spanish. Making the O sound right (I had a student named Oscar, spanish as his first language. I never quite got it pronounced right ever. Oh-scar or Aww-scar). Other thoughts - Alberto, Carlos, Armando.
Not sure if you mean you want it to be pronounced very similiar in both languages or if you mean that can translate to both so here are my suggestions...Miguel or Michael...Jose or Joseph
Christian, Alexander or Luis would sound good with Diego, I think.
Diego is a great name!! My oldest son is named Diego Ernesto but the middle name is after my father.
Diego David has a nice ring to it.
