I love, love, love the Gardenburgers at Red Robin! I purchased some from the grocery store to cook at home, but I can't seem to get them right. How in the world do you cook them in order for them to be as juicy & delicious as Red Robin's? Do you thaw before cooking? Thanks!!!

What can I do next?

I use Morningstar's and I microwave them. They are not juicy. I bet Red Robins adds something to them as juice from burgers usually comes from the fat, and veggie burgers have little of that. Maybe try frying some veggies in oil in a skillet and then sliding the microwaved burger in the skillet for a few seconds.

In my experience, it is all about the brand. MorningStar's are not good to me, neither are off-brands! Don't go cheap and buy the main brand, Bocca!
Then I prepare them just as I would a reg. burger and they are just fine, just watching them a little closer than the meatty ones (for kids and family).

Look at the fat content of each brand. Some of them have a little more fat which makes them a little juicier than others. I like the Soy burgers much better than the veggie burgers. I use my George Forman grill to cook.

Amy's brand is pretty tasty (http://www.amys.com/products/category_view.php?prod_categ...) you can buy them at just about any health food shop as well as the organic/frozen section of your local grocery.
Likely though, nothings gonna be as good as a fresh made one, so if you want to really rival a resutrant, make your own! Dump all the ingrediants into a food processor, form into patties, cook. You can freeze them for easy meals too :)
Here's a few recipes I quite like: http://vegetarian.about.com/od/veggieburgerrecipes/tp/bes...
cheers

I second the Boca Burger brand! I find the Morningstar Farms a little funky tasting and the texture is too soft. I cook them in a skillet because it gives them a crunchy outer and soft center. Had them last night, YUM! Good luck! =)
