Anyone Been to Couples in Jamacia?

Negril is the place to go in Jamaica. I've been there twice-To the Sandals resort years ago and just last year with the whole family to the Riu resort.

The second link is for the place we stayed last year. It was more affordable, but it is a resort for couples, families, singles and groups. When we were there during spring break last year, it never felt like there were alot of people. The beaches were always half empty and I didn't feel crowded.

We have been to a sandals but not in Jamacia and we loved it. I know Jamacia has a couple of them. They are nice and everything is included.....They are very accomodating. Enjoy.

My husband and I had our honeymoon at the couples resort in negril and it was brand new (1998) so nothing was over there yet. So we transferred over to Ocho Rios. We had a WONDERFUL time. Both resorts are Beautiful. Ocho rios was more old school- dark wood 4 post beds and Negril was more modern- low beds, modern art and tile floors. Either place would be great. Back then if you were in Negril you weren't offered some of the same discounts for tours (water fall tour) and we wanted to do that so we transferred. I would have loved to stay in Negril. Either way, I don't think you can go wrong. I would love to go again. Good luck. Make sure you ask what kind of deals you get with each location. Oh and ask for a dirty banana drink- delicious!!! I drank them ALL week!

My husband and I did the Superclub San Souchi (sp?) in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. It was incredible - everything was great! Only negative was that it was a 2 hr ride from the airport.

My parents went to Couples Ocho Rios ( now Tower Isle) for many years. They really enjoyed it.

My husband and I went to Sandals in Negril about 5 yrs ago. We had a great time there as well. It is so nice to have a couples only vacation.

I think any of the Couple resorts will afford you an relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
