Another Disney Question!! Akershus Vs. Cinderella's Castle for Princess Dining

Sorry, I hate to do this to all of you, but I feel like I need to go back to school and get a masters in disney planning! And, all these questions about Disney have made me think of it. Anyway my daughter is really into the princesses and of course, I want to do a breakfast. I was planning on doing the one at Akershus, but I thought I read somewhere that Cinderella is NOT there. Cinderella's Royal Table one would be nice, but it seems that only four of the princesses are there (which do include my daughters favorites, so that's good) and it is more expensive. I'm not sure which one would be better, they both got wonderful reviews, but I know my daughter would be upset if she didn't get to see Cinderella. Can anyone give advice on which one to choose.

What can I do next?

We didn't do the Royal Table because it took up two meals. We did Akershus and loved it. The food was only ok, but we saw all the princesses (including Cinderella) and that was what mattered most to my kids. I would definitely recommend Akershus.

We have done both and I recommend Akershus. You will see more princesses and they will stop at each table take a picture and talk to your child. When we went they had 6 of the princesses there, which was before Tiana and Rapunzel. Cinderella was one of them, Mulan and Pocahontas were not there (I have found that these two are hard to find). The castle is fun too, but you only meet Cinderella when you first go in.

We did the Cinderella breakfast in the castle. It was amazing and ALL the Princesses are there. They all go table to table and spend as much time as you need taking pictures and signing books etc. It wasn't rushed and the kids enjoyed the one on one time.
If you're doing the dining plan, it counts as 2 meals per person, just FYI.

We missed out because they were booked up when were were there. If you have boys too, I woudl go for Akershus. If not, either would be fine.

There is no comparison in my book, Akershus(for breakfast) is SOOOO much better. We have done Cinderella's Castle twice and both times were very disappointed. Now the picture that you get with Cinderella before you go up to eat is very neat. She is not upstairs walking around only a quick visit while you are getting your picture made with her. The service was terrible, the waiters and waitresses were rude, the princesses were all in a hurry, and you pay a lot for very L. food. My husband left still very hungry. Now I can only say things about Akershus for breakfast, the dinner menu kind of scared us away. We have now done it 3 times and have never been dissapointed. It is just your regular breakfast food, eggs, bacon, hash browns and an assortment of things on the buffet. When you arrive you get a beautiful picture with Belle and on all of our visits we had Cinderella, Jasmine, Ariel, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Then as you exit head to the left to Japan and twice we were able to catch Mulan for a picture. Good luck planning!!! We try to go every year, it's our favorite place in the entire world :)

We had dinner at Akershus, and we saw: Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Belle, and Mary Poppins. I'm not sure if they are always the same. It was great that each one of them came to every table, talked to the kids, signed autographs, and posed for pictures. We have not been to the castle for a meal, but my daughters (who were 5 &2) enjoyed our experience at Akershus very much!

Hi. We've done both two times. The first time we went Akershus was SOOOO much better than CRT because the princesses @ Akershus actually talk to your child and spend time at your table. And the food was so much better than CRT, and it doesn't cost as much.
The second time we went Akershus' princesses were great but the food wasn't as good as I remember the first time. But we will always be sure to go there on every trip because it's a wonderful experience.
The second time to CRT they changed the menu so the food was good, but the princesses still are there for a quick pic and then take off to the next table. But it is SUPER cool getting to eat in the castle.

So I say do both :) Have a great time!! Wish I was going!!

Akershus... It was great! The other is a bit over priced and the food isn't that great.

We love 1900 Park Fare dinner at the Grand Floridian. It is Cinderella,Prince Charming, The Stepmother and stepsisters. We also like Akershus for breakfast. If you are on the dining plan , you can do both compared to the one Cinderella's Royal Table which charges two meals. Our kids weren't more excited at Cinderella's Royal Table . Actually our son kept complaining that it smelled funny (musty). Have a magical time =)
