Get some Hyland's Teething Tablets. They work wonders and are total safe. Also, go to hyenacart.com and search for "Inspired by Finn". Buyer her a Baltic Amber teething necklace. They work well :)

I haven't personally tried this yet (I also have a 3 month old), but plan to if we need them as I have heard many moms rave about Hyland Homeopathic Teething Tablets http://www.hylands.com/products/teething.php

Theres these little teething tablets. They're super tiny "pills" that dissolve immedietly in the mouth. They work like a gem and they're completely natural. You'll be amazed! Good luck.

Other ideas are refrigerated carrots for her to gnaw on, gool wash cloths & tylenol if it gets too bad.

My pedi always said that the best teething remedy was to put your finger into the Jack Daniels bottle and then rub your finger on baby's gums. Then, take a shot yourself and everyone will sleep very well! I thought she was joking until she explained that the alcohol was a type of analgesic, plus it would calm baby enough to sleep. I was shocked until my grandma, who was with me for that well-baby visit, piped up and said that's what HER pedi said in the late 1940s!

Personally, I never tried it because I don't keep alcohol in the house, but it's a great story. Tylenol at bedtime works very well, too, which is what one of my friends advised. She said 2am was the WRONG time to figure out what the problem was. Sleep cures just about everything and if tylenol helped everyone sleep, well, that was a good thing.

For daytime teething, letting baby chew on a cold washcloth or even a cold, huge chunk of carrot worked for my boys...plus it was healthy! They still love carrots...

My DD was teething at that age too. She hated regular teethers, so I tried frozen washcloths. I had to hold them for her, but it worked for a little while. Chewing on my knuckles seemed to help her some. Teething tablets are awesome! I also use Tylenol when it seems more severe.

I have always been a big fan of Motrin over Tylenol. It has always seemed to work so much quicker and last a lot longer even! When my niece had a double ear infection and was teething it was what Riley Hospital suggested we get for her and she ended up sleeping through the night and waking up like nothing was wrong...playing the rest of the day. It has been a lifesaver and has even been what we give to our son an hour before we go in for shots to help make the rest of the day a little easier!

I have heard the whiskey idea too, I think we even used it a time or two.

You can freeze a wet washcloth, or dampen it and wrap it around an ice cube and let her chew on that. If the ice cube falls out, that's a diversion! it may take her mind off the teething. Keep an eye on her of course, you don't want her trying to swallow it whole.

If you have a flexible plastic or rubber teether, you can refrigerate those too.

Our oldest liked gumming dill pickles. He still likes them (he is 19 now)!

Tylenol or Motrin to help her sleep sounds good too.

Good luck!
