My son is turning 2 years old next week. My poor baby is allergic to ALL DAIRY priducts...anythin that contains milk (powder or liquid, non fat, 2%, 1% doesn't matter. So obviously he can not have a cake, or cupcakes, or cookies and ice cream for his birthday. What can i have that is "birthday cake " like for him to blow his candles out, and for the other kids to eat on. Any suggestions will be taken into SERIOUS consideration...

What can I do next?

You can still serve cake cookies or cupcakes. You just need to make it from scratch(food.com always has good recpies) find a cake recipie that calls for oil or shortning insted of butter, then substitute any milk for soymilk. You might want to make a tester cake to make sure it works, but it should soymilk is pretty yummy.

i've been vegetarian for over 10 yrs now, and i go vegan on a whim for fun and i know you can find everything you would need in order to fill recipes for a vegan cake at krogers in the new age section or whole foods, you can replace any milk with almond, rice or soy milk, you can replace your eggs, with 1 tbsp cornstarch and 1 tbsp water, (i use yogurt for that but obviously you cannot), plus for the ice cream- kroger has the wonderful lactose free ice cream sandwhiches called ''lil cuties''

Is he allergic to eggs too? What about butter?

If you can find a dairy-free brownie recipe, you can cut the brownies up and stack them on a plate in a tiered pattern. Then, put candles on the brownies, so he can still get the whole candle-blowing-out experience!!
