I would like to start and activity that I will enjoy doing and keep up. Does anyone know of adult dance classes for either flamenco or swing dancing?
School districts around town offer community education classes and usually teach dance classes as well. Also the classes are not expensive, and nearby.

Location: Sams Burger Joint (281/Broadway) every monday. Lessons at 7pm and dancing from 8 till 11:30 or so. Cost is $5.
I take classes at LA Performing Arts on Stone Oak and Huebner. I LOVE it. The teacher, Liza is fantastic. The other adults are so much fun. None of us are at it to be on Mtv, but we laugh and get a great work out. They have ballet, tap, and jazz for adults. Come give it a try! I go on Tuesdays at 10 am and Fridays at 9:30. I know that Cynergy Dance on Thousand Oaks offers these classes, they also have belly dancing...my daughter has dance there and the owner,Cynthia, is always trying to get me to join:) I have nothing but good things to say about the dance classes and their instructors.
I am getting ready to start a hip-hop/Jazz style class in Schertz for adults. It should be a lot of fun, and very good exercise!
