I am looking for a good pediatrician close to the Cuyahoga Falls area. We have already gone through 2 in just as many years. The first one a general well baby visit took about three hours in all, the second one, the dr. we saw no longer works there, she is taking time off. Now my child has no pediatrician and has an appointment with an allergy & asthma specialist next week. I am just at a loss. I don't want to keep moving her around but 3 hours for a general appointmen? come on! The other doc was great, but to just leave the practice without letting her patients know!?! Any advice or references you could give me would be VERY helpful! I also need a doc that is good with fitting in, my girl gets sick alot (hence the appt. w/ the a&a specialist). THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I take my daughter to Dr Jeffrey Kline. He is located on Portage Trail. I never have to wait when I get to his office. If I have a question the receptionists are very knowledgeable and if I call the answering service Dr. Kline calls back almost immediately. I will warn you, Dr Kline is very blunt and he may be hard to handle, but he is very good. His number is ###-###-####. Hope this helps
My pediatrician is in Tallmadge. She is wonderful. Her name is Carrie Priebe. We have been with from day one and my son is almost 5 now. The office is CHPA Tallmadge and the number is ###-###-####. Both docs are good (Priebe and Gulmi), but Priebe is young and easier to get in to. When we went there he (Gulmi) wasn't taking new patients. We have seen him once or twice over the years and he is good, but I love her and so does my son. We live in Akron near Barberton and was so impressed with her that we make the 20 minute drive. My son has reactive airways and she has been good with treating him. We haven't needed a specialist.

I also take my son to see Dr. Kline on Portage Trail. My little guy has had a lot of trouble with ear infections and I have never had a problem with getting him in to see Dr. Kline. The office staff is very friendly and I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for the Dr. to come into the exam room. I will also have to agree with the other comment that Dr.Kline can be blunt but he is gentle with my son and I appreciate his candidness when it comes to giving me the low down on why my son is sick, what to expect etc. I hope this helps, good luck with your search!
