I am new to the area and unsure of where to host my son's 3 year old birthday party. I know of Chuck E Cheese but is there any other options?

What can I do next?

Hi A.-

Well, for birthday parties, I am holding my son's at the Little Gym. There is also Funtime in Mentor. This is a place with those huge blow up bouncers & slides. Gymboree- which is alittle like the Little Gym. I think they play on some equipment and play with a big parachute. I would recommend a site called www.gocitykids.com and this lets you search for b-day parties for whatever age group and gives you a list of places. It has all sorts of ideas. It's not just for birthdays either, it's just to see what's around for the little guys!

I would recommend Pump It Up in Middleburg Heights. The kids get to play on all the bouncy stuff for a certain amount of time and it's your group and only your group in the play room. Then you go into another room and you bring cake and whatever and they serve the cake and ice cream or whatever you bring and then your little one gets to sit in a big chair in front of everyone and open his gifts. And the place will write down what he got and from whom. And the best part, it's done in 2 or 3 hours and there is no clean up and your house. I hope this helps. N.

My daughter had her part at The Little Gym...its really neat. No clean up, the staff is wonderful, organized and the kids loved everything. You should check it out...oh by the way...its not too pricy and better than Chuck-e-cheese! www.thelittlegym.com (I think)...Good luck!
