3 Weeks Pregnant with 2Nd and Weight Gain

I am only 3 weeks along and I am already struggling with my jeans. This is my second child so I know that you show sooner, but at 3 weeks? Some of my pants already don't fit, but I refuse to get maternity clothes this early on! Anyone else gain weight immediatly after conception??

What can I do next?

Typically it isn't "show" it is gas distention... you will show sooner - but doubt that this is true show.

I am 16 weeks pregnant and had to get maternity pants at about 6 weeks. I think it is where I wear my pants at. I wear them way below my waist line so it made them tighter sooner. I didnt even start showing with my first till 6 months. BIG difference.

I started showing BEFORE I knew I was pregnant....I distinctly remember walking down the stairs in my pre-baby clothes (which I just got back into), and thinking...'if I did not know better I would think I was pregnant.' Sure enough I started getting ill and found out I was pregnant a couple of weeks later.

Yep! It really seemed like I was in maternity clothes the minute that second line showed on the stick. LOL Seriously, I know I was already in my "fat" pants at 5 weeks and in maternity tops soon after.

I knew I was pregnant at 3 weeks with #2 b/c I couldn't zip my work pants up. :)
Congrats!

M.,

With my second (due in May) I did show earlier for sure. Probably around 6-7 weeks my tummy started getting a little bigger and my jeans became an issie. But, my hubby knows 2 people that have had twins and had your issues around 3-4 weeks...! just fyi...lol
