Mamasource is proud to be a Community Leader in the Millions Moms Challenge, a joint effort organized by ABC News in collaboration with the UN Foundation.

By connecting moms in the United States with moms across the world, the Million Moms Challenge aims to raise awareness about and funding for issues regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and early childhood in developing countries. It’s a rare opportunity for anyone who cares about these topics to do something, engage friends and loved ones, and help women and children in need.

As a Community Leader, we’re thrilled to be featured on the Million Moms Challenge website today with a sponsored post on advice received during pregnancy. You can join the conversation, and enter a chance to win an exclusive Million Moms Challenge Gift Pack, including an iPad 2 and an all expenses paid trip to DC to attend the UN Foundation conference on mothers.

You can even be a part of this movement aiming to increase understanding of challenges regarding motherhood and early childhood around the world. Sign the survey and donate a used phone—every little bit helps. You’ll receive periodic updates as to the progress made by the campaign, and how funds are being used to help mamas across the globe.

Mersedeh is a copywriter at Mamasource. When she’s not writing for work or her personal blog, Third Culture, she can be found running after her rambunctious 21-month old daughter, and happily ignoring other people’s child-rearing advice.
