I am an ex-nanny and now I am a stay-at-home mom to my 2-year old son, Leo. I am looking to care for only one child (age 3+) who needs me part-time (2 to 3 days per week). I live near a nice park, a cool skate-park, Spring Valley Nature Center and the awesome Schaumburg Library. I plan fun things to do most days and try to keep as busy as possible.
My home is clean, safe, non-smoking and cheerful with one, teeny-tiny, friendly dog who is excellent with kids. I am located just minutes away from Woodfield off Meacham and Schaumburg Roads. The perfect location if you need 53, the Elgin-Ohare or I-90.
I am open to a variety of PT hours, Mon-Fri, 7am - 5:30pm.

Patty cared for my two boys from January to July of 2007. All this while she was preggers with baby Leo. I have had several nannies over the last two years but I can say with all honesty that Patty was THE best. My boys loved her and she always went above and beyond. She has a wonderful heart, a happy demeanor and always treated my boys as if they were her own. If I lived closer to Schaumburg, I would definitely be a new client. Five stars for Patty!!

I met Patty when she was a nanny several years ago. I am a developmental therapist, and work with children who have special needs. I was working with a child, who Patty took care of several days a week. From my initial meeting with her, I could tell that she was an extremely caring, responsible, dedicated, patient, and loving individual, who had a true passion for taking care of young children. I trust her to watch my little 4 month old daughter, and would highly recommend her to care for your child. She is a great mom to her son, and it is obvious that he is a very happy and loved little boy. She is one of the most creative people I know, and is always thinking of fun and educational things to do with her son and my daughter. If Patty was in charge of watching your child, it would be very obvious that he/she will thrive in the environment that she provides. You could rest assure that your child would be in great hands and that he/she would have a wonderful experience in the care of Patty.

Patty is wonderful and loving and patient with children. She always looks for great activities to do with them, and is always concerned with their learning too! She is very warm, nurturing and an amazing mother to her son. She does a fantastic job with my daughter, who never wants the day to end!! Lots of fun, lots of love and lots of learning!! I never thought my child could be this comfortable and taken care of.........just the way I would do it!

I wouldn't trust my baby with anyone else. Patty is exceptional - intelligent, loving, and fun.
