My hubby & I just got our health insurance going through his work and it's Presbyterian coverage.
I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a general practitioner/family dr, a good pediatrician & a good ob/gyn.
I need a good high risk ob/gyn.

What can I do next?

Hello G.!
Our pediatrician is Doctor Monique Garcia at Northside Pediatrics and she is WONDERFUL. My OB is Dr. Elizabeth Garcia at womens specialists and I love her, but she isn't high risk. My friend has seen Dr. Hedstrom and can't say enough good things about her. As far as family practice, Dr. Robin Tuchler (at Northside as well) is really great. He's hard to get into though. Good luck!

The Peds at North Side Pediactrics are good, our favorite when we were there was Dr Jane Kim-Hoffman

OB/Gyn, in Rio Rancho, I just delivered seven weeks ago and mine was Victoria Garcia and she is wonderful! I didnt even feel like I had a csection! Otherwise I have always heard great things about Dr Gordon who is right near the main Pres. I have several friends who had high risk pregnancies and saw him and have nothing but good things to say about him.

For your doc I HIGHLY reccomend Dr. Sara Loetscher (pronounced Let-cher) She is in the Pres. medical group facility on Wyoming just south of Academy ###-###-####. She is a family practice so you could go to her for everything, including using her as your pediatrician and for your yearly pap smears. If you need a good obgyn see Dr. Elizabeth Garcia, she's with Women's Specialists of NM (not really a specialist facility, that's just what they call themselves). And any of the pediatricians at After Hours Pediactrics are great. If you work they will work great for you. Not only can you see them during the day, but they're open into the night and on the weekends too. They're located on Montgomery between Eubank and Wyoming. I live in Rio Rancho and gladly drive to see these docs on the NE side of Albuwuerque, the OBGYN is on Coors just north of Montano. As far as high risk OBGYN, see Dr. Hedstrom she's with the Center for Prenatal Development, ###-###-####. I'm seeing her for this pregnancy and saw her last one too, very good and her staff is WONDERFUL!!!
