I'm needing to go back to work, but i have 2 little boys and would love to find something that could keep me at home. I want to use my nursing degree. Anyone have knowledge or contacts for doing medical billing or case managment? Any other ideas. I've done direct sales and it really isn't the best choice for me.
I found a job only 10 min from the house. It isn't at home but the money is hard to pass up and it is normal day hours. So I think I will do this for a bit. My husband has been out of work for a few months so the money issue is key right now.

Also, if you use a mothers day out 1 day a week, maybe consider prn work in Day surgery or some have 4-8pm positions for later surgeries to help recover a patient and no weekends or holidays. This is a way just to keep your foot in the door and not loose your skills and work when its good for you.

I've read ads looking for nurses to take after-hours or "Call-a-Nurse" calls. Check some of the local hospital sites to find out if they're looking to fill these positions or if they offer these types of jobs. I don't recall where I saw them, or else I'd send you there. lol Sorry.
