What about the after hours nursing lines that most pediatrician offices have? I called one once and heard the woman's kids in the background. Maybe you could do something like that but I have no idea who you would contact.

Also, if you use a mothers day out 1 day a week, maybe consider prn work in Day surgery or some have 4-8pm positions for later surgeries to help recover a patient and no weekends or holidays. This is a way just to keep your foot in the door and not loose your skills and work when its good for you.
