I have a 12 year old son with autism and I am looking for a doctor in my area who would treat my son using more natural approaches. I have taken him to Dr. Rau in Plano before but was wondering if anyone knows a doctor in the Richardson, Wylie, Murphy area?

What can I do next?

Hi M.,
We see a homeopath. Have you thought of taking that route? There is a doc in Dallas named Dr. Dan Cook. ###-###-####
He is not totaly up to dae with auitism but can help you. There is a homeopath is California who works with Many kids with autism www.drluc.com
Also Houston Homeopathy Canter. That is mainly their focus. You do not need to live there to be a patient.

Hey M.-
You need to come do my nutrition response testing. I'm in Irving, but it is so worth the drive. I took an autistic girl from not even being able to hold a pencil to writing 4 four letter words in 2 weeks! At 3 weeks she was having conversations with me, when before she couldn't. All she could do is repeat you. It's awesome! I'm excited! Call us.

You've probably googled the resources in town, but if not, there is the North Texas Autism Education Center www.ntaec.org.
Look at Dr. Daniel Amen's website in California. At one point he was going to open a clinic in Dallas and I don't know what the timeline is on that. His website is www.amenclinic.com
He is one of the foremost brain researchers of our time and you will learn a lot just from visiting the site.

I consulted with my daughter, who has 2 children with autism and she suggested checking out "Mary ann Block@ the Block center in Hurst; she has been on T.V many times for her natural forms of treatment. Or Charles Hamil in Arlington, also extremely well known. Pass on my e-mail address and I would love to encourage her if she could use it." If you would like to correspond with her, please respond to my email and I will pass on her email address. Good luck to you. R. B.

M.,

Does Frisco work for you? If so, you might try Dr. Deborah Bain, MD. www.healthykidspediatrics.com. She starts with nutritional changes, which is a biggy with autism.

Good luck.
