Looking for Kids Cooking Instuctor, or Class for 11 Yr Old

For my daughters birthday I would like to have a cooking instructor come and help the girls cook there meal and cupcakes, or cake. I am unaware of a class offered in our area, and dont seem to be able to locate a kid friendly cook. Any ideas or referrals would be great.

What can I do next?

Hi H.-

You're in luck! Super Suppers in Corona (off the 15 at Magnolia and Rimpau in El Tapatio center) host kids b-day parties and classes.
We just took our girl scout troop there 2 weeks ago. The girls had a wonderful time. It was $12.50 per person. Each girl made pizza braided bread (take home to bake later), decorated cupcakes and were given a snack. The best part-no mess in my kitchen!!! Even our 6 year boys were able to make it too. There were 13 of us cokking and it took just over an hour.
The phone number is ###-###-#### and Chris is the owner (I think). The website is supersuppers.com
I really can't recommend this enough. It was so fun and so easy. The pizza bread was very tasty too!

Little Chef's Academy in Claremont hosts bday parties and classes for all ages. I don't know if they travel though. It always looks yummy and fun abut we haven't done it yet.

I don't know where you reside, but if you are anywhere in the LA county, San Bernadino County or even Orange County of California then I definitely would recommend Tina Hashioka. She has a cooking school for one, but she also does tea and cupcake parties for all ages. She is fun, energetic, and has a daughter of her own to where she can relate. If you are interested check out her links www.teatimebytina.com and her school link is www.epicureanschool.com. ###-###-####
