Hi M.,

Welcome to the wonderful world of homeschooling. :)
Do you have any cirriculum? What grades will you be working with?
Do you know of any homeschool support groups in your area? Having other hs moms/families around for advice and encouragement is a big benefit. What area do you live in? You can google homeschool support groups in MI.
We have a 14yo ds, and five girls 11,9,5,3 and 11 months and have been hsing for 9 years.
Please feel free to email me directly, I would love to be of help to you.

I have a friend who homeschools, it took her awhile to find a group becasue two groups she was in where "christian" of one denomination or another. When she told them she was not of their denomination ie: Catholic, Baptist , Methodist etc...
she was pretty much excluded soo be careful on the groups you get into. The actions speak louder than words. She also goes to a homeschooing confrence 1 - 2 times a year. Good luck.
