Hello moms!
I'm looking for a new doctor for my 1yr. old twin girls. Currently they go to Foothills Pediatrics at St. Rose hospital and see whoever is available. I am looking for a new doctor for that very reason; they never see the same doctor and everytime we go in the doctor "du jour" asks the same questions over and over again because they didn't bother to read my girls' chart or possibly because the previous doctor didn't make any notes! Sorry, it's just frustrating. So, do any of you have any recommendations for smaller practices in the Henderson/Green Valley area. I would like a more personal experience; a doctor who remembers my children's names and who actually cares about our family. Thank you for your responses!
K.

St. Rose Pediatrics is where I have been taking to two children since they have been born. they are now 13 years old and 9 years old. When they are sick I just call and get in the same day. They open at 7:30am Mon.- Fri. I would not take them anywhere else.

I use Foothills too & I HATE the St. Rose office for the same reason. I instead see Dr. Faro at the Mountain Vista office and LOVE him & that office. I will occasionally see another Dr. if it's a sick visit, but 90% of my visits are with him. I like that I have the option of the St. Rose office for evening & weekend sick visits.

We recently (within the last year) switched to Dr. Lee at Sienna Pediatrics (St. Rose/Sienna Heights) and we LOVE her! She's very attentive to the kids and takes time to talk to the parents. I never feel like she needs to rush out and I try to be considerate of her time.

Good luck!

Brighton Family Medicine with Dr. Kim. He is located on Stephanie and Horizon Ridge in the Albertsons shopping center. Their phone number is ###-###-####. He is a family Doctor so your whole family can see him. He is great he remembers all our names and you can usually get right in to see him even in an emergency. Good Luck!

My children, now 5 and 7, have been seeing Dr. Alazard (St. Rose Pediatrics) since the day they were born. He definitely is familiar with each of my children and treats us all (parents and children alike) with a great deal of professionalism and respect. When you call up to book a well-check visit, you do book the appointment with your regular pediatrician (in our case, Dr. Alazard).

If you are calling in for a sick kid visit, you can request to schedule an appointment with your preferred doctor but if he/she is not handling sick-kid visits that day or is completely booked, you may have to schedule the appointment with another doctor in the practice (they will tell you the name of the doctor and ask you if it is okay) or wait a day or two to see your preferred doctor. It's your choice.

I hope this helps.

That's where my daughter went for her first like 3 months after she was born and I hated it! It's dirty, the staff is rude and you do get a different doctor everytime. They didn't explain stuff well, etc etc. I was referred to Dr. Tuggle with Southwest Medical Associates (off Tenaya and 95)by a friend. She is well worth the drive! Night and Day!!!! We actually just switched to Dr. Carrie at Siena Pediatrics (Behind McDonald's across from St. Rose) just because she's so much closer and alot of my daughter's playgroup sees her. I'm not as happy here as I was with Dr. Tuggle and have thought about switching back. But....if you don't want to make the drive, Dr. Carrie is still a world of a difference from Foothills Pediatrics, trust me!
