Do You Use a Window Cleaning Service?

We use a service twice a year. We usually get college kids coming around looking for extra money so I'll put them to work for cheap:)

See...My ''how to hand book'' is in Hebrew....and well I am not.

So I guess this means I do them myself??

Uh, we are supposed to clean our windows? Just kidding...well, sort of. We live in AZ the the house that we have rented for the last 4 years has those thick window shades over them so we have NEVER cleaned the outside of the windows! The only windows we have cleaned are the inside and outside of our french doors that lead to the back patio. =)

I let the rain clean mine. :)

Mama Nature cleans the outsides. I just keep the cat hair off the insides.

A professional company charged me 100+tax to do inside and outside. We have oversized windows and the crew of 4 took only 40 minutes. They even cleaned the seals and sills. But because they left a bunch of spots, my husband won't hire them again. If he wasn't home ALL the time, I would hire them again and touch up.

Usually, once a year I hire a service guy who knocks on the door.

If he doesn't come, I do it myself, about 2x a year for most windows, and about 1x month for common windows, like kitchen, front door, back door.

Is your mom a little OCD about this?

I do them myself. It doesn't take that long, and I'd rather spend my money on something else.

I do it twice a year, though I do our big picture window more like 7 or 8x, depending on rain storms.

I clean my outside windows with a hose! Put the power nozzle on and clean off the dirt.

How much does it cost to have your outside windows cleaned?
