15 Weeks Pregnant and Concerned!

I am 15 weeks pregnant and have had fairly strong and painful stomach cramps along with diarhhea and headaches. I have taken tylenol when I can't handle the headache anymore but it comes back after only 15 minutes of relief. This has been going on for a few days now and I was just concerned if I should call the doctor or if its just normal stretching of the ligaments.

What can I do next?

More than likely it's a stomach virus BUT I'd call the on call doctor in the morning to touch base. If you're dehydrated though I'd call NOW.....

I would say definitely call the doctor ... But it does sound exactly like the stomach bug that is going on around here. Just make sure to keep hydrated!!!

No, this isn't normal. Call your doctor to find out what's going on. Your body is telling you something is wrong.

Go ahead and call the doctor on Monday. It isn't normal ligament stretching. Are you staying hydrated? It is soo important to drink more water. That can possibly help your headache but the doc will need to find the cause of the diarrhea.

If you're at all concerned, put a call into your Dr or midwife. That's what they're there for!

Drink lots of water, and relax as much as possible...

So what did you? I'm hoping that lack of an update means your doctor sent you to the ER for fluids.

Your description sounds to me overall like an intestinal virus, but since you're pregnant I would be concerned about getting dehydrated and early labor due to dehydrated SUCKS donkey balls in a major way. The headache is, to me, a sure sign of dehydration and while the stomach cramps could be your colon acting up, it could also be contractions caused by dehydration. Not productive contractions, but contractions nonetheless.

I would definitely call your doctor and make an appointment to be checked. Try not to worry, as these symtpoms could just be from the pregnancy. Good luck!

Sounds like a bug that's going around. Call the advice nurse or your doctor to be sure.

the headache is what makes me say go in! You could just have an illness going around but it is better safe then sorry!
