My daughter is starting to get breast but I don't know when she should start wearing a bra.
Oh gees the eye question and now this.
She’s freaking 12, you should have been communicating a long time ago.
Go buy her a bra so she does not get embarrassed or made fun of at school.
How old are you?
Bras are not chosen based on age - they are chosen based on the degree of development, how uncomfortable your daughter is, whether she’s involved in sports and may need extra support, and your conversations with her. If your lack of awareness of this means that you haven’t held a long series of talks about development, menstruation, sexual issues and more, then please talk to the pediatrician immediately and get some guidance based on your daughter’s maturity and more. Ask for a good book on girls’ development, or speak to the children’s librarian in any good library for recommendations of books you can take out for free before choosing one to buy. Your daughter deserves a good education, and if you weren’t given much help when you were growing up, it’s fine to ask for help. But do not delay. She’s 12.
Geez, when she needs and/or wants it, don’t YOU remember that time in your own life?! Or are you some weird man hoping we will give you some sick thrill? EW.
Now would be good.
when she start getting ‘breast’ and wants one.

Now.
Now
As soon as she starts to get breasts she should start wearing a bra. Simple as that. Look at the sports bras for a more kid look.
It doesn’t go by age, it goes by development. When I was a kid we got a “training bra” as soon as we started developing. It was stretchy and grew with you. I think a lot of girls opt for a “sports bra” now.
my girls were required to wear one in gym class starting in 6th grade. The older daughter didn’t really need one until end of 6th grade, and she barely really needed it then. The younger daughter is 14 and still could go without one and no one would notice. But since they had to wear it every day for gym they got in the habit of wearing one and feel naked without one now.
It’s not age related, but development related. She will probably know when she is ready, either because she wants some coverage or is physically uncomfortable. Casually let her know that when she wants to start wearing a bra, you will take her shopping.
my buddy’s step-aunt makes $68 /hour on the laptop . She has been without a job for nine months but last month her check was $99350 just working on the laptop for a few hours. check my source

There is no specific age, if you see protrusions (breasts/nipples), then that would be the time to get her one so her nipples don’t poke through. My daughter started around age 8-9, other kids develop later and won’t need one until they are 10-11. If you claim your daughter is 12, it seems to me that she should have started wearing one long ago…you can start with a sports bra or training bra. My daughter has a few of both. The point is to offer her coverage, especially through light-colored shirts and materials. She obviously won’t be needing the type of bra we grown-ups wear at this point.

Grace,
When did YOU get your first bra?
If your daughter is starting to get breasts?? She should get one now.
My dd is 13 and is very undeveloped even at her age. There are some other girls in her grade at school who probably wear a C or D cup! It really depends on the kid and how developed they are. My dd wears a bra, but doesn’t need one…she even has a padded bra just so she can look a little bit like her peers or just so she can look her age. There’s a huge range of development in tweens and teens.
She she starts getting breast bumps. Bras are to help her nipples from rubbing against the underside of her clothes and get irritated. They’re to help her not have headlights if she gets cold. They’re to help keep her modest.
They can be the tiny thin ones from Walmart or they can have a little padding but I would make sure that any padding at all would be thinner rather than thicker.
