Wanting to start a playgroup in the Saint Clair Shores area

Hi Mamas -

I am desperately looking to start a playgroup or mom’s group of some type in the Saint Clair Shores area. Anyone interested? My daughter just turned one so I was thinking anyone with a baby from 6 months to 18 months would work well. Also, if anyone has any advice about starting up a group that would be great too! My daughter needs some playmates and I need some other mommies to socialize with. Most of our friends and relatives don’t have kids yet and the few that do are 45+ minutes away.

Go to stclairshores.net

on the left hand side of the page.. select "directory" from the menu select "local organizations and links" and you will find information about the momsclub of stclairshores.

There is a phone number and an email contact.

Also--I found a playgroup for stclair shores.. It was in teh macomb fun for families guide.. it says the playgroup meets wednesdays from 10-12 for ages 4 and under he phone number is 586-445-5350

I've been looking too! Im from Grosse Pointe Woods so we're close! My son is 8 months old.
Keep me posted if you know of some playgroup or if you decide to make one! =)

I live in SCS too and organize a playgroup for the area. We meet once a week at different parks during the summer. In the winter we meet in the gym of the church I attend in Clinton Twp and let the kids play. We also do extra activities like visiting the fire/police dept., cider mill, zoo, Pump it Up.. and we have a Halloween costume party every year.
