Hi are there any single Mom's out there who are bored like me?, I have a 9 year old son, and we have way too much time on our hands. I would like to meet other single Mom's out there, with a boy around the same age, to do stuff with or even just hang out. All my friends are married with older kids...
Hi Jody, I am in a mommy group with meetup.com...we have one member who is part of a singles moms group and she liked it so much she's now an assistant organizer.....I do believe the moms have kids of all ages in the group and if I remember correctly I think the organizer lives in Fair Oaks. Her name is Lina and is very nice.

Jody, as my husband was a student and very busy all the single moms and I from church got together and went camping for 2 weeks each year. We all had a ball and found great places to goto. Some of my friends have made day trips to meuseams and to drive along the coast and go to Yosemite which is so beautiful and not a bad drive. I am blessed that my son was always as a teen willing to go withme and spend time in Half Moon Bay. Sometimes we take a friend and they fly kites . Now what I do is take out the map and just decide on a direction and we see what is in that area that we have not seen before. The rest of my children are all older and have lives of thier own and I have to respect that they aren't interested in entertaining me ha-ha. If you belong to a church group or have contacted that group that the other person talked about then you might already be doing much of this.
