Hi. I am returning to work and am interested in bringing a nanny into my home to care for my 2 yr old. I also have a friend who will be bringing her 10 mo. old over as well. Both are girls. We are looking for a 3rd child to help share the cost of a GREAT nanny. My home is in Richardson- Waterview/Arapaho area. We would prefer a child under 3 so that they can all be relatively interested in the same types of things.
My husband works from home so there's the added comfort of having someone there to keep additional tabs on the situation. I will be working literally 5 min down the road and will be able to pop in randomly to check things. Our home is great- nice, clean, very child-proof. We have a great backyard for kids to play in with a secure fence. During the summer my almost 6 yr old boy will be there occasionally- in between summer camps, etc.

I was looking for a nanny share arrangement a couple months ago for my 9mo old son, but unfortunately never had any luck finding families in the area. I knew a nanny-share would have been the best environment for my child... more one-on-one attention and quality care. I have since become a full-time mom, so I am no longer looking, but I just wanted to wish you the best of luck in your search for another family and for a nanny!

I am very interested in talking to you more about this arrangement. I have not been happy with anything that I have set up for my daughter. She is 15 month old. I am at Arapaho & Plano Rd. (just east side of 75) I have her in a MDO out on Tuesday & Thursday right now, but I would like to find something that offers more days & more direct interaction with my daughter. I don't want to hire a sitter just for her because I think children need the interaction with other children their age. I haven't been happy with any of the in-home daycares or most of the centers that I looked at. The only places that I have been happy/comfortable with would cost around $800/month & that is just not affordable for me at this time. I am a stay @ home mom & work out of my home as well.
