Prenuptial Pajama Party

Hello Mamas,

Ya'll were so helpful with my last request for help planning an event ... I'm back for more great advice!

Here's the new event that I'm working on ... my best friend's bachelorette weekend. Here's what I already have envisioned and ya'll can fill in the blanks or add in any ideas you think would work well ....

First, let me say we are in our mid thirties ... a night at La Bare or dancing on a piano somewhere isn't really right for us nor what the bride is wanting. The "festivities" are scheduled to occur in March.

I was planning to host a "Pure Romance" party on Friday night at my house. Figured this would give everyone a chance to get to know eachother (who didn't already) and maybe even get the bride and groom some items they could use on their honeymoon! My sister hosted one a few weeks ago and it really was a lot of fun! Message me if you want her salesperson's name and number ... she was great!

On Saturday there are 6 of us who are really close with the bride that will be having a "spa day" with her.

Saturday evening ... this is where i REALLY need your help ... I wanted to host a "Prenuptial Pajama Party". I thought we could let the bride give out awards (and prizes) for the best, worst, wildest, etc PJs. it would just be a really casual girls' night. My problem is that my house only has two beds and I can't imagine this many girls would want to sleep on the floor! Plus, if I'm hosting the PR party the night before and will be at the spa all day, when will I have time to prepare for ppl coming over that evening? I've looked into some B&Bs but nothing is really feeling right. There is another bridesmaid who was willing to use her large house, but said her husband would probably be there which kinda kills the whole "girls night".

Let me know what ideas ya'll have! Thanks in advance for your time!

buy air beds and gift one to the bride!

tell the husband to get lost for one night! lol. if she is close enough to the bride to be a bridesmaid, then her husband should be willing and understanding enough to be able to find something to occupy his time for the night!

The hubby might have a friend he could crash with for one night - makes sense to ask him as long as you have the lead time :) Airbeds are also a good idea - the new ones self inflate and are pretty comfortable, and lots of people have their own. With the airbeds, though, there's a question of floor space, which may be a challenge if her house is really not very big. See who has what bed and what size and go from there :)
