Sorry, I meant to type BPA-free bottles. Don't need extra toxins! Does anyone have any BPA-free bottles they have used. Thanks again.
Unfortunately, my kids have never used a bottle, but I do reference http://safemama.com/ It is a great web-site. I believe that Playtex drop in bottles are BPA free, but don't quote me on it. Good luck with your quest and I hope your little one takes the bottle easily!
Hi Beth,
I nurse my son, but when I cannot be there, we use Evenflo glass bottles (the most affordable). You can find them at Babies R' Us. We also have a few Born Free bottles- also available at BRU. I second the suggestion to visit www.safemama.com. It's one of my favorite sites and will help educate you on safe alternatives for bottles and sippies.
Good luck!

Hi Beth!
I used Advant with my first and because of the plastic issue, I am now using Medela with my twin babies. I am happy with them and like that I can pump directly into them with the Medela pump. The only problem is that the bottles only come in a 5 ounce size--which is annoying as my babies are getting older! On a side note, Medela has the best way to sterilize the bottles using these bags you throw in the microwave. They are amazing and safe for "safe plastic" bottles! Congrats on you upcoming arrival!
We use Medela and Gerber Clear View bottles. Both BPA-free and never had a problem. Also use Gerber Nuk nipples with them.
I currently use Dr. Browns BPA free bottles in addition to Medela. These have worked really well.
I am the mother of a 3 1/2 month old.
I hope this helps.
Pam
I just started using Nuby and my litle guy loves them.
