Hi Mamas!
My husband and I have decided to not vaccinate our little girl. After much research, we believe that vaccinations are more harmful than beneficial. I’m hoping there are other mamas out there that have made the same decision and can recommend a good pediatrician that will be ok with this. We live in the Euless area.
Thanks!
Maria
Maria,
I'm sure you'll find support on mamasource. I do not agree with you, I think it is risky to skip some of the vaccines, but I'm glad you have this resource to use.
I do believe there are too many vaccinations and they need to be limited to what is really necessary.
Like Polio.... who wants to get Polio? It's devastating. So a vaccine for it sounds logical. But Chicken Pox isn't likely to kill you if you get it and it is not bad for most people.... so the vaccine should not be required.
There's been a lot of talk about vaccines and autism and some on here will say that there is a link, but I do not believe there is and my son has autism. I think autism is genetic.
Good luck with your search, I know it's hard to make decisions for your baby's life that will effect her forever and it's good that you're looking into it.
How is it possible to not vaccinate your child? Are they allowed in schools if not vaccinated?
Just curious.

There is another local board where you may find a lot of help.
