Milk Delivery

We are new to the Denver area and I am interested in getting milk delivery. As far as I can determine, there are 3 local companies - Royal Crest, Longmont & Karl's. Any reviews???

Thank you!

We had Royal Crest in the past, we actually decided to use them because one time after that huge snow storm we got stuck in our driveway and one of the milk delivery drivers helped push us out. Once we had them though it was frustrating, we went on vacation and asked them not to deliver and they did anyway and then many times they didn't look at our order form. Whatever you set up with them is pretty much what you'll get everytime so I don't understand why they give you an order form. Even when we called customer service things did not change. Part of it could be the neighborhood too, Federal and Alameda. Anyway we're moving to Thornton in September and everyone recommends Longmont Dairy so that is what we are going to try. Hope this helps.

We had Royal Crest in the past and it was great. We never had any problems at all with them. I found it very simple to change/add to orders online. We moved to our current house about a year ago and quit service because we have a Farm Crest (same as Royal Crest) convience store just down the street. I suggest looking around to see if you have one near you. It is great because I get the same quality milk anytime I want for about $1 less a gallon. Good luck!

We also had Royal Crest deliver for several months. It was great when they came as promised, but we also had a lot of mistakes (milk coming 2 times in one week, skipping a week or coming when on vacation). We stopped the service when it became more of a hassle.

We love Royal Crest! We get whole milk for our 1 year old and we drink the 1%... we used to buy 2% at the store but Royal Crest's 1% is better than the 2% we used to buy.

We've been with Royal Crest for over a year and haven't had any problems. I know several other people on my street use them too.

We have Royal Crest and love it. My family had it when we were kids too and it was so convenient- usually ends up being cheaper than the grocery store. Also their milk comes from the same network of dairies that service/produce Horizon Organic milk- so their milk is pretty much organic & all-natural but for some reason they're not allowed to label it as such. Also depending on where you live in Denver, Royal Crest might be the only one that delivers to your house- i think Longmont and Karl's serve only the northern area.
enjoy!~

Try LongmontDairy.com, they are family owned, have their own cows, and deliver in glass bottles. And try to look past all of the spam the competitors put on this page.
