Hi Mama’s,
My family and I just moved to the south Vancouver, WA area a few months ago. In the next few months we hope to expand our family and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good OB/GYN either in Vancouver or the North Portland area. Also, what hospitals around here have good labor and delivery units?
Have a great day!
Danielle
Hi Danielle,
I was born and raised in Portland. It’s been 10 years since my last child was born and my OB doesn’t deliver anymore, but Good Samaritan Hospital in NW Portland is where most of my friends have delivered their children. I did a search on their website for OB/GYN’s that are connected to Good Sam and here’s what I found:
Welcome to Portland! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Fabulous restaurants, jogging & biking trails, and moderate weather (well…maybe a tad bit too much rain, but a lot of beautiful scenery and clean air!).
Best wishes to you and your husband and your future little ones!

Love her!!
Either Southwest or Legacy both have relatively new units. They both are great hospitals to have babies. I go to a wonderful clinic in the Salmon creek area of town called Cascadia Womens Clinic. The office is made up of all women and you will have a chance to meet all of them just in case!
I went to Salmon Creek Hospital with OBGYN Deborah Saner. She was great and so was Salmon Creek. Deborah Saner, MD OBGYN in Vancouver, WA
