I am looking to have a spa type party in my home for my daughters birthday, we live on the north end of Plainfield near Naperville.If you know of anyone that offers this type of service please let me know.Even just their nails done is fine.
I had a representative from Mary Kay cosmetics come to a Girl Scout meeting once so they may come to homes. They did nails for the girls and also a brief presentation that involved the girls trying things. It was on the importance of good skin care, health, etc. and then at the end they did a little bit of makeup - just some blush & lip gloss but, depending on your daughter's age, they would probably do more or less. I can't remember what the cost was now but it was just paying for the presentation, there was no attempt to sell anything to the girls. Sounds like fun! I'm sure your daughter & her friends will have a great time!
My daycare provider's daughter is going to beauty school and does my 3 year's hair all the time (in fact, it's the ONLY time I ever get compliments from friends/family and strangers). She does all the kids hair and nails from time to time (and just overall great with kids too), so if you are interested, I can contact her and see if she's interested. Depending on the number of girls you have, she may have one of her classmates come and assist.
