Ideas for appreciating generous grandparents

My daughter has the coolest, most generous grandparents EVER (my parents  They watch her almost daily and when they’re not w/ her they want to be. They also spoil her/us w/ all of their presents. My mom calls them “childhood tools.” I would love to do something great for them this year but wondered how you repay when you can’t really “pay?”

Thanks,
Jen

Hi Jen, It sounds likeyou come from a very loving family, you didn't mention how old your daughter is now. I have an Idea, how about a home made photo album, buy an inexspensive photo album, pick out some really pretty material and lace and with a glue gun cover the album, Try and find a print of material that looks old fashion, then go through family photos of your parents over the years and photos of activitites that they may have done with your daughter, the zoo, birthday parties, what ever you have, arange the pictures differently on each page and leave room for a caption, prayer, poem, saying, encourage ment, what ever you now will touch their hearts and put one of them on each page with the pictures. My mom passed away 3 years ago, and was a wonderful granmother to my kids, and she had told me, that as you get older, homemade gifts are more special than store boughten, becasue ones from the wallet and ones from the heart, that was my moms opinion, but we did something simular for her what i described for you, and we thought she was going to cry. I;m sure you will get a truck load of ideas, just to let you know, I love gardning, crafts, sewing, and spending time with my family as well. Good luck, let us all know what you decide, even if it's not our idea. Julie L.
