I need to buy high school graduation gifts for two girls. They are both heading off to college. Any ideas what I could get them? I prefer not to do a gift card but am open to all ideas!
A great gift to give is one of those safety/fire boxes for their important paperwork and things they want to keep "locked up" but close by while at college. It is great since they will probably be sharing a room with someone else. I know several graduates that have loved this gift. You can usually get them for $30-$50 at Target, Wal-Mart, etc.
When I went off to college I was given a "goodie bag" for a gift. For the girls you could buy them each a cute garbage can at Target, then place a variety of items in there (lotions, body wash, hair brush, hair clips, mints, toothbrush, etc. and a photo album, journal, and Chicken Soup for the College Soul or inspirational quote book). If you know where they are going to school, you can also look up the college bookstore website and buy them a shirt or a blanket from the store and have it shipped to your house so they can have the goods before they go to college.
