Hi, I need to have a garage door opener put in. Does anyone know of what the estimated cost will be? We should not need a new door, I don't think, so I just wanted to know the estimated cost of someone installing a new opener. Also, do you have any recommendations for good companies to use. THANKS!
We used Plano Overhead Garage Door to upgrade from the builder's product.
They replaced a double door and single door with heavy duty steel doors. Granted...we upgraded and we usualy go with the highest quality we can possibly afford.
They did replace both of the garage door openers. Ours are by Liftmaster. We spent about $750. per garage door opener. We also got the remote opener installed outside the garage door.
I am sure you can find something cheaper but we strongly feel that you get what you pay for. The warranties on these peoducts are great, the customer service and installation went very smoothly. They have been in business a long time and the do have a showroom in East Plano area.
