Had anybody used the Dr. CAREing facility in downtown Allen? I am intersted in their weight loss program, Dr. Slim but I wanted to hear from someone with firsthand experience with the practice.
Well I've been going there for a couple of years,(not for their weight loss program) and started going there because I needed an office with late hours. I feel, they feel they need to rush. I was having a problem and the main doctor, not the practitioners, seemed to be getting impatient with me and I needed reassurance. Which if I am paying all the money I do I want the doctors attention. I don't like that their policy that Saturday hours are only for people that are sick. In other words they won't do a womens physical. I've gone in there several times on a Saturday and they always said they don't want to use Saturdays for minor things. The last time I went in there and they said that no one else was waiting to see the doctor. What's the big deal? If someone comes in with an emergency they can stop waiting on me and go attend to the person with the emergency.
The doctor that was impatient with me is the one that heads up the weight loss program.
