I have just moved to the allentown area (temporarily) and i'm looking to settle in the macungie area. I am looking for a structured daycare center who will love and nuture and teach my 14 month old son. Anyone have any suggestions? Please!
Hi, Crystal. I have 2 children in a daycare in allentown (i'm new to this mamasource thing so I'm not sure if I'm supposed to give out the name). You can email me at [email protected] if you're interested. it's in allentown and may be further to drive than you're looking for but both kids seem to like it. I've had a few issues that i've talked to the owner about (we've since become fairly good friends) and for the most part, she takes my side on it. They will give you a tour of the place and she told me to check it out and if I didn't feel comfortable there, then to definitely look somewhere else. I may have to change as we have moved our business to the other end of town, but I was impressed with how clean and structured it is. Hope that helps. Jennifer
i loved the asbury methodist church daycare group called Play days. it's on springhouse road and walbert ave. in allentown. just had to pull my daughter from it because we moved to bethlehem and i'm so bummed! good luck - it's really the best i found in allentown. it's $15 a day, 9 - 12pm, you can go up to 3 days i think.
