Hello, I have asthma. I grew up with chihuahuas in my home for my entire childhood and never knew I had asthma until I moved out and had multiple attacks. After several years, my husband and I adopted a chihuahua (for no particular reason...it just needed a home), and my asthma actually was a lot better with just a couple of flare-ups in several years. My chihuahua died in February this year, and my asthma has gotten progressively worse. Right now I'm miserable. I've honestly never put a lot of faith in the whole "chihuahuas help control asthma symptoms" belief, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience. Am I crazy or do chihuahuas really do make a difference?? Thanks for your help!!
